Drug Detected in High Schools

Police conducted drug tests at local high schools in the town of Uzice, Serbia. The tests, which were performed with the use of Mistral Detection, drug detection and identification kit, showed residue of Cannabis on student work surfaces in 5 out of the 6 schools which were tested.

The results of the testing will be used in further operational police work, and in the following period, all 40 primary and secondary schools in Zlatibor District will be tested.

Head of the Police Department in Uzice, Mrs. Dragica Jevtovic, said that by purchasing these tests, law enforcement forces are able to implement the Action Plan and National Strategy for drugs combat.

“Our goal is a collective participation in fighting against drugs in order to make Uzice healthy environment”, said the City Council member, Mr. Ilija Micevic. This goal is an attainable one, thanks to Mistral Detection, Drug Detection and Identification Kit.
